The Baháʼí Faith

The Baháʼí Faith is one of the fastest growing religions in the world. It’s a fairly new religion (1844) that teaches the “essential worth of all religions, and the unity of all people.” Baháʼí Faith is all about unity and oneness. Baháʼís believe their religion is the religion of the future, and they could be right. We might call the Baháʼí Faith a shadow of a one-world religion or the new world order during the reign of the antichrist. Let’s take a closer look at this religion. The following quote is from Wikipedia:

The teachings of Baháʼu’lláh, the founder of the Baháʼí Faith, form the foundation for Baháʼí belief. Three principles are central to these teachings: the unity of God, the unity of religion, and the unity of humanity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bah%C3%A1%CA%BC%C3%AD_Faith

Baháʼu’lláh (November 12, 1817 – May 29, 1892) is the founder of the Baháʼí Faith.  He was a Persian religious leader who advocated universal peace and unity among all races, nations, and religions.

Bah’u’llah (1868)

Baháʼu’lláh claimed that he was a messenger of God. He is called the Divine Physician by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States. Baháʼu’lláh used the term Manifestation of God to define the concept of an intermediary between humanity and God. Sadly, he was unaware that there is only one intercessor to God, and that is the man Jesus Christ. The following is from the Baháʼí website:

Throughout history, God has sent to humanity a series of divine Educators—known as Manifestations of God—whose teachings have provided the basis for the advancement of civilization. These Manifestations have included Abraham, Krishna, Zoroaster, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad. Bahá’u’lláh, the latest of these Messengers, explained that the religions of the world come from the same Source and are in essence successive chapters of one religion from God. https://www.bahai.org/

This quote from Baháʼí.org is in error. They’ve included Jesus Christ as an equal with Moses and Abraham, who were, of course, great men of faith. But Moses was a type and shadow of Jesus Christ, who was to come. As Moses was the intercessor to God for the Israelites, so Jesus is our intercessor to God, and we who have faith are children of Abraham. Jesus Christ is more than a man. What man walked on water? If we want to know what God is like, we look at the person of Jesus Christ.

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Hebrews 1:3)

The devil tries to blind people to the divinity of Christ because he knows the only way to receive God’s promise of eternal life is through Jesus Christ:

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

It’s obvious the Baháʼís don’t know who Jesus Christ is, that he is the blessed God in human form. When we refer to God as a man, we say “the Son.” When we refer to the invisible, infinite God, we say “the Father.” The Baháʼís claim to have God, but unfortunately, they don’t. If people don’t have the Son, Jesus, they don’t have God, the Father:

Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well. (1 John 2:23)

The promise of God is eternal life for those who believe in Jesus Christ:

And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life. (1 John 2:25)

The concept of a one people, one world, one religion, one-world economy, has an antichrist spirit. We who believe in Jesus Christ implore all people of the world to be reconciled to God, who has placed the man Jesus between us and him. We who are servants of God and followers of Jesus Christ love all people, and we don’t want anyone to perish. That’s why we try to tell everyone the good news about the saving grace of God our savior:

15 If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 And we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love; whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:15-16)

It’s all about love—from the heart. It’s from the inside out, not the outside in.

The Baháʼís have some nice architecture, but so does Roman Catholicism and Mormons. The second temple in Jerusalem that was destroyed in 70 AD was nice too.

Therefore, being offspring of God, we should not think that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by man’s skill and imagination. (Acts 17:29)

The Universal House of Justice is in In Haifa, Israel:

The Universal House of Justice is a nine-member supreme governing institution of the worldwide Baháʼí community. It is estimated to have between 5 and 8 million members spread around the world. They have a nine-pointed star as their symbol, though they don’t regard it the way Christians regard the cross or Islam the crescent.

There’s a lot of nines in the Baháʼí Faith. They say 9 is the symbol of completeness and unity. However, God’s number is 7. We see 7 notes in music, 7 colors of the rainbow, 7 days a week, and so on. The number 7 is associated with divine completeness and perfection. Seven is the perfect number. There’s a dangerous teaching gaining popularity among believers called the Enneagram. The Enneagram is a geometric symbol containing 9 (ennea) points:

The Enneagram is a system of personality typing that describes patterns in how people interpret the world and manage their emotions. The Enneagram describes nine personality types and maps each of these types on a nine-pointed diagram which helps to illustrate how the types relate to one another.

It’s best to stay away from worldly things like this. What is the ‘Enneagram,’ and why are Christians suddenly so enamored by it? (religionnews.com).

Let’s move on to Mt. Carmel in Haifa, Israel, and take a look at the Baháʼí Gardens:

Built by the members of the Baha’i faith who consider Mount Carmel a Holy place, the Baha’i Gardens may be Haifa’s most famous attraction. https://www.timeout.com/israel/attractions/bahai-gardens
Volunteers in the Baha’i Faith keep the grounds of the gardens in Haifa.

We can also visit a Baháʼí temple in the US: https://www.bahai.us/bahai-temple/. The following belief is from the Baháʼí US website:

We Are One

We believe it’s time for humanity to come together as one family, to create a world where everyone can thrive.

This may sound good on the outside, but let’s listen to the apostle Paul:

What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? (2 Corinthians 6:15)

In order to receive God’s promise of eternal life, we need Jesus Christ the savior. This is why we preach the good news to accept Jesus as Lord and obey God’s commandments.

This is My command to you: Love one another. (John 15:17)

The greatest commandment is to love the Lord our God and love our neighbors as ourselves. If we love our neighbors as ourselves, we’re not going to sin against them. Love fulfills the law.

Let the following scripture be a warning to all who profess God but do not have Jesus Christ:

and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and which is already in the world at this time. (1 John 4:3)

If people don’t have Jesus Christ, they don’t have God. There’s only one God, and he exists as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit: https://futileworld.com/2019/07/21/the-trinity/

God is our good Father who wants what’s best for his children. He doesn’t rejoice in the death of anyone. God’s promise to the human race is eternal life for those saved in Jesus Christ. When we accept Jesus Christ as Lord, we know that when we die, we’ll avoid the terrible fate of hell. God our savior has shown the human race the way to eternal life, and that is only through our Lord Jesus Christ, who is returning.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and was and is to come—the Almighty. (Revelation 1:8)

    1. Hello, and thank you for reading. I think you’re off to a good start. On your blog about Christianity, you wrote, “It is believed that Jesus, after resurrection is God incarnate.” To be precise, Jesus is fully God and fully Man from his conception to his ascension to the Father. These things were foretold in the Old Testament:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isa. 9:6)
We verify these facts about Jesus Christ from the prophets in the Old Testament. God foretold of his suffering through Isaiah the prophet 600 years before Jesus was born:
6 I offered My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who tore out My beard. I did not hide My face from scorn and spittle. 7 Because the Lord GOD helps Me, I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set My face like flint, and I know that I will not be put to shame. (Isa. 50:6-7; see also Isaiah 53)
God became a man, lived a perfect, sinless life, and died the worst, most painful death ever for doing nothing wrong. Do you see the genius of God? Every human being fits somewhere in this extreme. None of us have lived a perfect life, and none of us are going to die that bad, especially for doing no wrong. This is why Jesus Christ can judge the earth and wage war in righteousness when he returns. He bore God’s wrath for our sins on the cross, those of us who believe. If we don’t have Jesus Christ, we don’t have God. If we don’t have God, we are subject to the wrath of God, which is not good.
We respect other religions and love our neighbors with the love of God, but we know for a fact that we are right and other religions are in error. This is why we try to tell people about the saving grace of God our Father and Jesus our Lord. I know the idea of God the Father and God the Son sounds complicated at first, so read this: https://johnrahdel.com/2019/07/21/the-trinity/
The Bible is the beginning and the end of the human race given to us by God, and we know the end of time is coming. God’s promise is eternal life to those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead. Are you saved in Jesus Christ?
