The Worship of Demons

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too. You cannot partake in the table of the Lord and the table of demons too. —1 Corinthians 10:21

Demon worship is real, and people may not even realize they’re worshiping demons. Satan is the god of this world, and demons answer to him. The “devil’s angels” are going to be thrown into the burning lake of fire, and they’re trying to take as many people with them as they can. Satan wants people to live in unbelief and “do what thou wilt” because sin separates us from God. Those in the Satanic Temple say they don’t even believe the devil is real:

The Satanic Temple says it’s really an atheist organization, despite a statue depicting its leader as a tall human with a goat’s head and horns and two children looking on adoringly. Its (sic) says its followers don’t believe in spiritual evil or a literal devil. Satanists have a big surprise coming. If they don’t repent, they’re going to hell with Satan because they’re serving him whether they realize it or not. So, if we can’t reach people through the good news of God, then maybe we can reach them with the bad news by telling them that hell is real, and it’s an eternal place of pain and torment, with no rest forever.

And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)

People shouldn’t die unsaved in Jesus Christ. Let’s make sure our names are written in the Book of Life. Here’s Jesus:

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28)

People will get themselves thrown into hell by disobedience and unbelief.

Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (Matthew 25:41)

True followers of Jesus Christ don’t want to see anyone in hell,

where ‘their worm never dies, and the fire is never quenched.’ (Mark 9:48)

The worm in this scripture can represent our conscience eating at us for eternity, possibly saying, “Why didn’t I listen?” or “Why didn’t I change?” Those who worship anything other than God the Father and Jesus Christ are worshiping demons.

Demon gods of the past include ancient Egyptian gods such as Anubis, Horus, and Ra. Others are Dagon, a fish god of the Philistines, and Asherah, the mother goddess. Let’s look at some demon gods in the world today.

Baphomet is a demon god, but some believe he represents Satan himself. Here’s an early depiction:

There are many Hindu gods. This is the demon god Shiva on display at Cern:

Shiva is the destroyer god while Brahma is the creator god, and there are many more.

Let’s go to Jeremiah 32, in which we read about Molech. Here’s God speaking:

They have built the high places of Baal in the Valley of Hinnom to make their sons and daughters pass through the fire to Molech—something I never commanded them, nor had it ever entered My mind, that they should commit such an abomination and cause Judah to sin. (Jeremiah 32:35)

They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons. (Psalm 106:37)

Those who have abortions are sacrificing their children to Molech, whether they’re aware of it or not. The demon Kasyade is responsible for giving humans the wisdom to perform abortions, as we read in 1 Enoch 68:17:

He discovered to the children of men every wicked stroke of spirits and of demons: The stroke of the embryo in the womb, to diminish it.

These demon gods are designed to blind people to the one true God. Satan throws in other religions, gods, and aliens to distract people from Jesus Christ. The belief in aliens or extraterrestrial life is designed to cast doubt on God’s existence. This deception keeps people in unbelief. The devil knows the only way for people to be saved is through Jesus Christ.

Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

No other god on earth is called a Savior, and this is from God. Let’s listen to God, the creator of the universe, from the book of Isaiah:

Before Me no god was formed, and after Me none will come. I, yes, I, am the LORD, and there is no Savior but Me. I alone decreed and saved and proclaimed—I, and not some foreign god among you.

We know from Scripture that if we don’t have the Son, Jesus, we don’t have the Father, God, and if we don’t have the Son, we don’t have life:

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. (1 John 5:12)

It’s difficult to accept the fact that there are billions of people who don’t have life. They don’t have life because they worship false gods. Jesus tells us that if we’re not with him, we’re against him.

Let’s prove the previous gods are demons from the following scripture from the Song of Moses:

They sacrificed to demons, not to God, to gods they had not known, to newly arrived gods, which your fathers did not fear. (Deuteronomy 32:17)

There’s only one God, and he came to us in human form to provide the sacrifice for our sins so that we may be forgiven and avoid the penalty of eternal destruction. Everything we’ve done wrong in our life that’s deserving of hell is forgiven through the blood of Jesus Christ. He suffered and died in our place. Once we’re born again, we turn from wrongdoing and love God and our fellow human beings.

The power of darkness is increasing in the world, and it’s going to get worse as we get closer to God’s appointed time of the end. The world is dying, and nothing in this life is worth an eternity. We can only get to God through Jesus Christ. God doesn’t want anyone to perish but to come to repentance. Believe in Jesus Christ and receive the crown of eternal joy from God our savior. Peace to all.

Though each of the peoples may walk in the name of his god, yet we will walk in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever. (Micah 4:5)
