Ancient Architects and Gobekli Tepe

We see ancient ruins above and below the water line, and they’re fascinating to behold. Things with similar characteristics are found all around the world, such as pyramidal structures,

megaliths,

petroglyphs of stickman,

and handbags, baskets, or buckets (with contents):

People seem to be demanding an explanation about these things with no one to give an answer. It almost seems to be a longing. Some say the wisdom and technology we find couldn’t have come from men, so they look to the heavens. Many come forward with their own explanation, as we see on the show Ancient Aliens. In our search for answers to our origin, it’s natural to look to the heavens. Some believe we were visited by highly intelligent, extra-terrestrial beings, and technically they’re correct.

They came in fully understanding the whole universe. –Jordan Maxwell

Actually, they came in fully understanding many things, but not the whole universe. The knowledge they gave to humans is called worthless in the book of Enoch. In regard to the antediluvian world, truth is stranger than fiction.

Anunnaki

This is how a manifested fallen angel, or Anunnaki, wanted to be depicted to humans, as a god.
This is how this fallen angel wanted to be depicted by an ancient hand.

The ancient world called these deities Anunnaki. They were considered gods in Mesopotamia:

The ancient Mesopotamians believed that their deities lived in Heaven.

This is true, and they weren’t isolated to Mesopotamia. Ravana from Hindu mythology might have been one these deities. The fallen angels had the ability to take on different shapes. The following is from 1 Enoch 19:1:

and their spirits assuming many different forms are defiling mankind and shall lead them astray into sacrificing to demons as gods, (here shall they stand) till the day of the great judgement.

These so-called deities did live in the heavenly realms (one of the dimensions), and they did come to earth. But in reality, they were angels who left their proper dwelling.

And the angels who did not stay within their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling—these He has kept in eternal chains under darkness, bound for judgment on that great day. (Jude 1:6)

In those days, there were 200 of these fallen angels, or watchers, and we know the names of many of them. When they came down to earth, they demanded worship from humans.

…that each member of the Anunnaki had his or her own individual cult, separate from the others.

They turned life on earth into a living hell.

Rosettes

Rosettes were everywhere in ancient Mesopotamia. Many stone reliefs have the Anunnaki wearing bracelets with rosettes.

They appear to be solar symbols, or more precisely represent the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, and so indicated the passages from one state of existence into another.

They probably used these rosettes to show their divinity to the stupid humans, as divine givers of life, like the sun.

A Watcher Holding a Scepter Topped with a Rosette

We can also use the rosettes to give us scale as to the size of the Anunnaki in comparison to humans and lions:

This is a relief of a normal size human killing a lion. Note the size of the rosettes in comparison.

We can compare fallen angels coming down to humans like humans going down to an ant colony and showing off their wisdom and demanding worship from the ants, and of course, messing up the order of things and doing irreparable harm.

Pinecones and Handbags

Many theories exist as to why the Anunnaki carried handbags and pinecones. The handbags are sometimes referred to as buckets or baskets, and the pinecones we see are thought to be from the Turkish pine.

Turkish Pine

Although fully explanatory texts regarding these objects are exceedingly rare, it does seem highly likely that they were together employed in rituals of purification, as revealed by their Akkadian (Aka Assyrian, Babylonian) names: banduddû (“bucket”) and mullilu (“purifier”). In this case the fir cone would be dipped in the bucket of water before being shaken in order to ritually purify a person or object.

The cone would be dipped in water and then sprinkled, like a ritual purification. This is a good explanation and might remind us of the situla: Situla (plural situlae), from the Latin word for bucket or pail, is the term in archaeology and art history for a variety of elaborate bucket-shaped vessels from the Iron Age to the Middle Ages, usually with a handle at the top.

Let’s look at the following image of a bucket. Note the handle connections are similar to the above image.

In the following relief, the bucket or handbag appears to have a woven pattern, like a basket:

The pinecone might remind us of an aspergillum, which is a liturgical implement used to sprinkle holy water. It comes in three forms: a freshly cut hyssop branch, a brush-like bundle that is dipped in the holy water and shaken, and a perforated, mace-like metal ball with a handle.

These things are primarily used in Roman Catholic rituals. Let’s look at this pinecone at the Vatican:

The Fontana della Pigna or simply Pigna ([ˈpiɲɲa], “pinecone“) is a former Roman fountain which now decorates a vast niche in the wall of the Vatican facing the Cortile della Pigna, located in Vatican City, in Rome, Italy. Composed of a large bronze pine cone almost four meters high which once spouted water from the top, the Pigna originally stood near the Pantheon next to the Temple of Isis.

Let’s look at these reliefs of the handbags (or buckets), which might reveal some contents, though they’re difficult to make out with a screen capture:

The relief of the bucket (or basket) that’s held up in the right hand might be a fish, but it’s difficult to see. The handbags might represent holding the heavenly gifts, or knowledge, that the angels brought with them. Here’s an excerpt from Enoch 8:

Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, ‘Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal (taught) astrology, Kokbel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon.

In the following image, it appears a sword is coming from the bucket or handbag, and the thumb of the Anunnaki is on the hilt:

And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures.

Swords are from heaven. The first mention of a sword in the Bible is when Adam and Eve are kicked out of the Garden of Eden:

He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life. (Genesis 3:24)

The main reason the fallen angels made a pact to come down to earth was for nothing but lust:

1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto 2 them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men 3 and beget us children.’ And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear you will not 4 indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.’ And they all answered him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations 5 not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.’ Then they all swore together and bound themselves (1 Enoch 6:1-5)

In the following relief, the pinecone has now moved from the blessing of the right hand to the genitalia region:

How cheap can you get?

These spirit beings assumed human form and pretended to be gods or priests to groom the beautiful woman for fornication and to bear children. The fallen angels gained the allegiance of many women. In the screen capture of the above images, note the advertisement that appeared in the top right corner:

They got the allegiance of many women, and probably enslaved many more. But the pinecones were effective. The women eventually gave birth to giants. Let’s listen to some of the good angels speaking to God in this excerpt from Enoch 7:

And the women have borne giants, and the whole earth has thereby been filled with blood and unrighteousness. And now, behold, the souls of those who have died are crying and making their suit to the gates of heaven, and their lamentations have ascended and cannot cease because of the lawless deeds which are brought on the earth.

In this stone relief, there’s now a weapon of cruelty in the right hand.

The watchers and their offspring, the Nephilim, were an invasive species on earth. Let’s continue in Enoch:

And when men could no longer sustain them (with food), the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another’s flesh and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

Look at the lions closely in the previous and following relief. They appear to be suffering. The lion in the following image is trying to defend itself or escape by biting the arm:

Lions aren’t small.

As a side note, there are debates whether these carvings are the Anunnaki (the watchers) or the Nephilim (their offspring). But the fallen angels and Nephilim were very cruel to mankind.

Taking the Women and Making Slaves of Men

The Nephilim were giants upon the earth produced from spirit combined with flesh. The fallen angels loved their sons, but God commanded them to be destroyed and made them “evil spirits” upon the earth. Here’s an excerpt from Enoch 15:

And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they be called. [As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.] And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.

The Anunnaki came to earth bearing gifts from heaven for mankind:

Because of these gifts, God had no choice but to destroy the world and start again. The wisdom and knowledge that the watchers gave to men, in the estimation of God, was worthless. In the following excerpt from Enoch chapter 16, God speaks to Enoch after the fallen angels had wreaked havoc on earth:

And now as to the watchers who have sent you to intercede for them, who had been aforetime in heaven, say to them: “You have been in heaven, but all the mysteries had not yet been revealed to you, and you knew worthless ones, and these in the hardness of your hearts you have made known to the women, and through these mysteries women and men work much evil on earth.” Say to them therefore: “You have no peace.”

And from henceforth you shall not ascend into heaven unto all eternity, and in bonds of the earth the decree has gone forth to bind you for all the days of the world.

God’s judgment on the watchers might seem harsh to those who liked the movie Noah, in which God forgave the watchers at the end. But the fallen angels caused much violence and bloodshed on the earth. Of course, the damage was done.

Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and full of violence. (Genesis 6:11)

God had the choice to completely wipe everything out, or to start again with 8 people and many animals. Here’s God speaking after the flood:

As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night shall never cease.” (Genesis 8:22)

The earth is not enduring now. It’s wearing out like an old t-shirt. This is called climate change. We can’t make our old t-shirt new again, even though we still love it. We’re just going to make the tear worse by sewing on a piece of new cloth.

Gobekli Tepe—A Post-Flood Beginning

“If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.”

Gobekli Tepe has been called the world’s first temple. We should call it the world’s first classroom, Gobekli Tepe University.

GTU

Ancient astronaut theorists suggest that Gobekli Tepe was built by the survivors of a lost society, one that was almost entirely wiped out by a worldwide cataclysm.

There was a worldwide cataclysm called Noah’s flood. When the water receded, the ark landed at Mt. Ararat.

On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. (Genesis 8:4)

Gobekli Tepe is in Anatolia, which is east.

Pillar 43 is the key to deciphering Gobekli Tepe.

At the top of Pillar 43, there are three baskets or handbags. The handles on the handbags (or baskets) stop short of connecting to the end. The animals are taking up the rest of the space. Since they’re facing down, this might represent them being put into the baskets, as with an invisible hand.

Some believe that the animal in the center has an inverted tail, which we see on some other animal carvings:

It certainly looks like a tail, although it doesn’t seem to be fully connected to the animal and it seems to extend to the head:

If we look closer, it appears to be a tail, or rather, part of a comet:

It’s good to look at Pillar 43 at different angles and under different light. Let’s look at it under this light:

In this image, we can make out the comet clearly:

The tail might have a dual purpose—one for the animal and one for the comet.

The streams of dust and gas each form their own distinct tail, pointing in slightly different directions. The tail of dust is left behind in the comet’s orbit in such a manner that it often forms a curved tail called the antitail, only when it seems that it is directed towards the Sun. At the same time, the ion tail, made of gases, always points along the streamlines of the solar wind as it is strongly affected by the magnetic field of the plasma of the solar wind.

The comet probably came from the direction of the constellation Cygnus.

The people who carved the reliefs may not have called the constellation Cygnus a swan. They might’ve identified it with a bird of their choosing. The earth might’ve passed through the comet’s tail, or it could’ve been a glancing blow, with the comet skipping off the earth’s atmosphere. Whatever the case, the heat, or the debris that fell to earth, would’ve been substantial, playing a role in a catastrophic melting of the ice sheets at the end of the last ice age, possibly causing the Missoula and other floods. Fossil beds in North America give evidence that many dinosaurs were killed in a catastrophic flood. The electricity in the atmosphere caused by the comet’s tail could’ve formed a stickman figure in the atmosphere. A glow discharge is a plasma formed by the passage of electric current through a gas.

Conduction in a gas requires charge carriers, which can be either electrons or ions. Charge carriers come from ionizing some of the gas molecules.

The discharge might’ve been seen around the world. Ancient humans might’ve thought they were seeing the image of God. The comet could’ve made its flyby just prior to the great flood, a period called the Younger Dryas. It might have signaled the beginning of the end and afterward recorded on Pillar 43 by the descendants of Noah. However, the Bible doesn’t mention anything about cosmic events in regard to Noah’s flood. In Genesis 7, it says that “all the fountains of the great deep burst forth” and “the floodgates of the heavens were opened.”

On the side of the vulture stone. there’s a carving of a lion sitting like the sphinx:

Facing the lion (on the left) is a louse, and not just any louse, but a clade B louse.

The pattern on Pillar 43 might represent bundles of grain, as some believe.

Good Food

Explaining the H and I blocks and the animal symbolism are too extensive for this teaching.

The archeological timeline for Gobekli Tepe is put between 9500 and 8000 BCE. We know the true date is approximately 4000 years ago. We can say this with confidence because God has appointed 6000 years of human history and a 1000-year sabbath, which is the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. For, “God rested on the 7th day”.

For in as many days as this world was made, in so many thousand years shall it be concluded. And for this reason, the Scripture says: “Thus the heaven and the earth were finished, and all their adornment. And God brought to a conclusion upon the sixth day the works that He had made; and God rested upon the seventh day from all His works.” This is an account of the things formerly created, as also it is a prophecy of what is to come. For the day of the Lord is as a thousand years; and in six days created things were completed: it is evident, therefore, that they will come to an end at the sixth thousandth year. Irenaeus, Against Heresies (Book V, Chapter 28, paragraph 3)

Megalithic Walls

Some megalithic walls around the world seem watertight, like we might use sandbags today.

In fact, some of the stones have a bulging appearance like sandbags, while others appear thrown together haphazardly using any size of stones people could find. Many seem to be built on hills, and some believe they were built for defensive purposes or to strengthen the hill.

Could a desperate people in a do-or-die situation build walls like these in 40 days?

And the rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights. (Genesis 7:12)

In the following image, why are these waterfowl (ducks) huddled with their little ones atop what seems to be a megalithic wall? Compare the wall (or mountaintop) to the background, with its straight up and down and side to side lines. Could the etching represent darkness or storms?

In this pillar, could the ducks represent people who are seeking higher ground? Did many different animals perish below? Doesn’t the warthog look dead? Isn’t it natural to seek higher ground in a flood? Is this pillar part of History class at GTU?

Post Flood Technology

Someone might ask, “If all the ancient knowledge was wiped out in the flood, how do we know these things today, like how to make swords? Noah’s son Shem had a grandson named Kainan (or Cainan). Let’s go to the book of Jubilees:

In the twenty-ninth jubilee, in the first week, in the first [year] thereof, Arphaksed took to himself a wife, and her name was Rasuja, the daughter of Susan, the daughter of Elam, and she bore him a son in the third year of this week, and he called his name Kainan. And his son grew, and his father taught him writing, and he went to seek for himself a place where he might seize for himself a city. And he found a writing which the forefathers had carved into a rock, and he read what was in it, and he translated it and found that there was within it the science of the Watchmen by which they had seen the astrology of the sun and the moon and the stars and in all the signs of heaven; and he wrote this down and did not say anything concerning it, for he feared to speak to Noah concerning it, lest he be angry with him on this account. (Jubilees 8:1-3)

Noah’s great-grandson found the science of the watchers and didn’t tell Noah out of fear, and this knowledge continues today. Many believe the knowledge of these fallen angels set us on the path to becoming the technologically advanced civilization we are today, especially in regard to artificial intelligence, which will be instrumental at the end of human history. But let’s remember that it’s God who gives the good knowledge to men, not angels or aliens:

Listen and hear my voice. Pay attention and hear what I say. Does the plowman plow for planting every day? Does he continuously loosen and harrow the soil? When he has leveled its surface, does he not sow caraway and scatter cumin? He plants wheat in rows and barley in plots, and rye within its border. For his God instructs and teaches him properly. Surely caraway is not threshed with a sledge, and the wheel of a cart is not rolled over the cumin. But caraway is beaten out with a stick, and cumin with a rod. Grain for bread must be ground, but it is not endlessly threshed. Though the wheels of the cart roll over it, the horses do not crush it. This also comes from the LORD of Hosts, who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in wisdom. (Isaiah 28:23-29)

God provides seed for the sower and bread for food.

Conclusion

The watchers knew they were going to have to pay the penalty for their great sin, but they jumped right in. Here’s their penalty:

For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them deep into Tartarus, placing them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; (2 Peter 2:4)

At the judgment, the watchers will be cast into the lake of fire with Satan and his other angels. But even to this day, fallen angels are still around, working overtime in the world, especially in AI and AI art, which is growing exponentially. They also pretend to be aliens and UFOs to cast doubt on God’s existence.

God appointed a final 7 years of human history, and this time around, he is going to destroy the world with fire:

through which the world of that time perished in the flood. And by that same word, the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3:6-7)

The beginning of the end is approaching, and eternal hell is real. Nothing in this dying world is worth the eternal separation from God. So, no matter what we choose to do in this life, we can receive God’s promise of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and savior and turning from wrongdoing. Let’s do the right thing in life and love the Lord our God and our fellow human beings. This is the best food.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is My body.” (Matthew 26:26)
