As we continue on the trail of the snake, let’s make a stop in southeast England and show further evidence of how the coming of the antichrist, the beast, has been prefigured throughout history by taking a close look at the Sutton Hoo helmet, which is from the 7th Century CE.

On the helmet, we see a dragon that makes up the eyebrows, nose, and mouth, including the mustache. The dragon faces upward, coming face to face with a snake:

The snake is a functional part of the helmet. It forms a solid iron crest that runs to the back, and ends with another snakehead:

The eyebrows are made of the wings of the dragon. Each wing is lined with cloisonne garnets. This was so that light could shine into the garnets, catch on gold foil behind the garnets, and reflect a glowing red light back out, like a reflector, but only more brilliant. The left and right eyebrows look identical at first glance, but they may have been manufactured in different ways while being intended to look essentially the same.

The right brow is about 5 millimeters shorter than the left and contained 43 rather than 46 inlaid silver wires and one or two fewer garnets. Gilding on the right eyebrow was “reddish in color” against the “yellowish” hue on the left eyebrow, which contains trace amounts of mercury and a tin corrosion product which are absent from the right. Moreover, while the individual bronze cells into which the garnets are set, both on the left brow and on three of the four remaining dragon eyes, are underlain by small pieces of “hatched gold foil”. Those on the left side, and the left eye of the upper dragon head, have no such backing.

The gold backing served to reflect light back through the garnets, increasing their luster and deepening their color. Where this backing was missing on the left eyebrow and left dragon eye, the luminosity of the garnets may have been dimmed by direct placement against the bronze.
The gold backing was not only missing on the left eyebrow and the left dragon eye, but it was intentionally dimmed by placing it against the bronze. In low light, with the garnets of only one eye reflecting light, the helmet may have itself seemed to have only one eye.[208] So, the garnets on the right eye have the gold foil behind them, but the garnets on the left eye have do not. This would make the right eye shine red light, leaving the left eye in darkness. We can get an idea of what this may have looked like in these not-so-great images generated by AI:

In the following image of the Sutton Hoo helmet in its glory, we can imagine the red garnets, backed with gold foil, sparkling red light. The effect must have been spectacular in the sunlight.

In discernment, we associate the right side with good and the left side with evil, although both are fine, and each has its own advantage. The antichrist will lose his right eye and will possibly have a defective right arm. We know that the owner of the Sutton Hoo helmet, possibly King Redwald of East Anglia (though it’s not known for sure), was left-handed because of the wear on the hilt of his sword and the placement of the sword at the burial site.
The snake and dragon on the helmet represent Satan. When the devil persecutes, he is referred to as the dragon. When the devil tempts to sin, he is referred to as the snake. Whoever the wearer of the Sutton Hoo helmet was, we can say he was important and might have had only one eye himself. Here’s another explanation:
The subtle differences between the eyebrows, the left of which lacks the gold foil backing employed on the right, may suggest an allusion to the one-eyed god Odin.
We explained the connection between the tribe of Dan, the Danes, and Odin in the previous post, Antichrist—The Tribe of Dan, and how the antichrist might come from this Israelite tribe. We also explained how the tribe of Dan could’ve migrated north by land and sea, leaving breadcrumbs in the form of snake symbolism and the name Dan itself.
As the Sutton Hoo helmet testifies by emphasizing one eye with brilliant red light bursting out, so the antichrist will be shot in the back of the head, and the bullet will exit his right eye. This will happen at some point during his reign as head of the new world order. He’ll suffer this mortal wound but live, and he’ll most likely be connected to artificial intelligence through quantum or classical computing. Jesus Christ calls this man an abomination, so he might be a transhuman or something like a cyborg. This might occur when the singularity in AI is reached. The world is currently being conditioned for the coming of the antichrist through the one-eye sign:

The one-eye sign will make the unbelieving world obedient to the beast when he comes. In fact, he will be the ‘savior’ of the world and worshiped like a god.

The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder, and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them.
The lawless one will be Satan incarnate. As God manifested himself naturally through childbirth, so Satan will manifest himself artificially through AI, the image of the beast.
As we continue our lives in these dangerous times, let’s not forget the love of God that not only saves us from eternal hell, but promises us eternal life. The love of God is that Jesus Christ suffered and died in our place. The sins that make us subject to God’s wrath are forgiven through the blood of Christ. So, let’s accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior and turn from wrongdoing. Let’s continue to do good in a fallen world. If we’re here during the reign of the antichrist, let’s keep the faith no matter how we meet our end.
Then the king will do as he pleases and will exalt and magnify himself above every god, and he will speak monstrous things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been decreed must be accomplished. (Daniel 11:36)
