“Behold, I am against you, O arrogant one,” declares the Lord GOD of Hosts, “for your day has come, the time when I will punish you.
Christianity and Islam disagree about the deity of Jesus Christ, but they both agree that the evilest man who will ever live is coming. Christians refer to him as the antichrist. Islam calls him Al-Masih ad-Dajjal. Masih is an Arabic title applied to Jesus, roughly meaning “messiah.” Dajjal means “greatest lie” or “most deceitful.” Combined with Arabic definite articles, the phrase Al-Masih ad-Dajjal literally means “the fraudulent Jesus” or “the lying Messiah.” https://www.gotquestions.org/Al-Masih-ad-Dajjal.html
In 1 John 2, the apostle John refers to the man of lawlessness as the antichrist. In the book of Revelation, John refers to him as the beast. The antichrist is also referred to as the little horn, the king of the north, the arrogant one, and the eighth king.
The Dajjal is usually described as blind in one eye, which eye he is blind in being uncertain and disputed by some. Both of his eyes are, however, considered to be defective – at the least – with one being totally blind and the other protruding. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Masih_ad-Dajjal
At some point during his reign, the antichrist will lose his right eye, possibly by being shot in the back of the head, with the bullet exiting his eye. Revelation 13 says the beast will survive a “mortal” wound. He could be connected to AI, becoming a transhuman. Jesus Christ calls him an abomination.

The beast is now referred to as the image of the beast. At this point, Satan will enter and completely possess the antichrist. This will be Satan’s finest hour, in which the unbelieving world will love and worship their savior. In the following image generated by AI, randomly, and screen captured, there’s a halo and a horn on the girl’s head:

We can take this to mean that people in the last days will be looking to the wrong savior, even if they mean well. Spiritual forces are working in AI.
The Dajjal will imitate the miracles performed by ʿĪsā (Jesus), such as healing the sick and raising the dead, the latter done with the aid of devils (Shayāṭīn).
Let’s compare this to what the apostle Paul says:
The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder. (1 Thessalonians 2:9)
The world is already being conditioned for the coming of the antichrist through the one-eye sign.

In the 1st seal in Revelation 6, the antichrist comes on a white horse. He’ll come as the false messiah, imitating the works of Jesus for an evil and unbelieving world. The real messiah Jesus returns to wage war riding a white horse in Revelation 19:11. Islam also believes that Jesus Christ is returning. The following verse speaks of Jesus’s coming, which is a sign of the final hour:

And his ˹second˺ coming is truly a sign for the Hour. So have no doubt about it, and follow me. This is the Straight Path (Quran 43:61; compare to verse 43:58).
In the following image from the 17th century, Jesus can be seen on a ‘speckled’ horse fighting the Dajjal, while the Mahdi, the Islamic savior, is in the background with his face veiled sitting on a white horse:

In Islamic eschatology, the Mahdi is expected to appear first, followed by the second coming of Jesus (Isa). The Mahdi, also known as the “Guided One,” will emerge to restore justice and righteousness. After the Mahdi’s appearance, Jesus will descend from heaven to support the Mahdi and defeat the Dajjal (Antichrist).
Muslims are waiting on the Mahdi like Christians are waiting on Jesus Christ. Islam believes the Mahdi will come in the last days shortly before Jesus. In Islam, the Dajjal will come first, then the Mahdi, then Jesus, who will kill the antichrist (Dajjal). In Christianity, there is no Mahdi. The antichrist will come, and then Jesus will make his second coming and kill him with the breath of his mouth. The Mahdi is not mentioned in the Quran, but we find a reference to the Dajjal. The following verse is in the context of those who turn their backs on Allah:
And when the decree comes to pass against them, We will bring forth for them a beast from the earth,1 telling them that the people had no sure faith in Our revelations (Quran 27:82).
In Dr. Mustafa Khattab’s translation, footnote number 1 says that the beast is believed to be one of the major signs of the Day of Judgment. No further details are given in reliable resources about this beast.
We find a reliable source in Revelation 13, in which the antichrist (Dajjal) is referred to as the beast. But there are two beasts, one from the sea (the antichrist) and one from the earth (the false prophet). The false prophet will command people to worship the beast and his image or be killed. To do so will mean eternal destruction. It will be better to die in Christ and receive eternal life than worship the beast and be thrown into hell. But many will follow these two beasts when they come, because at that time, there will be a great famine and food will be weaponized. But many are already following the devil. In the following screen capture from November 2024, Islamic terrorists threaten to kill Jews unless they turn to Islam, and they say the same for Christians. Let’s not follow the devil like these murderers:

Do not follow Satan’s footsteps. He is truly your sworn enemy. (Quran 2:168)
The terrorists in this video say they’ll chase Jews to the ends of the earth. But the Quran teaches Muslims not to kill, but only to wage war in self-defense, and not to exceed the limits of warfare, such as killing women and children:
Fight in the cause of Allah against those who wage war against you, but do not exceed the limits.1 Allah does not like transgressors (Quran 2:190).
Here’s the footnote by Dr. Khattab:
“Do not exceed the limits” refers to Islamic warfare guidelines set by the Prophet. In an authentic saying collected by Abu Dawûd, he (ﷺ) is reported to have instructed the Muslim army, “Depart in the Name of Allah and with His help—following the way of the Messenger of Allah. Do not kill an old man, a child, or a woman. Do not mutilate dead bodies of the enemy. Be gracious and courteous, for Allah loves those who act with grace.” The Prophet (ﷺ) also says, “Do not wish to meet your enemy in battle but always pray for well-being. If fighting is a must, then be steadfast.”
Terrorists are an example of Satan (Iblis) working in the Islamic faith as he does in the Christian faith, such as during the Inquisition. The devil also works in Talmudic and Rabbinic Judaism. Satan is always trying to turn us from the right path. Even so, when the Dajjal comes, many from Islam will be deceived and follow him because they hate Israel, Jews, and Christians, like Satan does. God will throw them into hell for their error, along with Satan, because they let themselves be deceived. Many suicide terrorists have come and gone, and more are out there. Satan deceives them to make them believe they’re going to paradise with many pleasures for their self-sacrifice. But we know that if we kill ourselves, we’ll be thrown into hell:
And do not kill yourselves, for Allah is merciful towards you. Whoever does that out of hostility and wrongdoing, we will cast him into the fire, and that would be easy for Allah (Quran 4:29-30, cf. John 8:21-22).
The Quran simply teaches that on the day of Judgment, Allah will show Jews and Christians what they used to do. It doesn’t say go hunt people down and kill them.
As for those who repent, believe, and do good, it is right to hope that they will be among the successful (Quran 28:67).
The Quran teaches peace. It reads like a law of Moses for Muslims. It teaches Muslims to fear God and obey the commandments. The fear of God will keep us from sinning to be spotless and blameless on the day of Judgment.
“Do not be afraid,” Moses replied. “For God has come to test you, so that the fear of Him may be before you, to keep you from sinning.” (Exodus 20:20)
The Mahdi is not mentioned in the Quran, but Jesus Christ is mentioned many times. So, what happens when Jesus comes to kill the antichrist and the Mahdi hasn’t shown yet? When Muslims see Jesus Christ and not the Mahdi, who is supposed to appear before Jesus, many will know that Jesus Christ is the Savior, and they will be saved. There’s only one savior.
I, yes I, am the LORD, and there is no Savior but me. (Isaiah 43:11)
In these last days, let’s receive God’s promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let’s turn from evil and do good, obeying God’s commandments. Let’s remember that no matter how we meet our end in this dying world, we’ll not only avoid the terrible fate of hell, but we’ll live forever in paradise with God, the creator of the universe.
